Sailing in November

Went out sailing on Monday and Tuesday and it was beautiful. Here is a nice picture off the bow of Kurofune looking east towards Shizuoka.

A no-brainer

From the daily Yomiuri:

The number of job offers from domestic hospitals and nursing care facilities willing to accept Indonesians and Filipinos as potential nurses and nursing care workers next fiscal year stands at 177, only about half the number of such offers for this fiscal year, it was learned Saturday.

This seems quite silly to me as Japan needs workers and its going to have a lot of old people, soon (hopefully I wont be one of them).

Books on my mind

For the last three months I have been trying to read all of the books I bought this year in the expectation that I will get more books for Christmas. The question is, what book should I be reading next?
